    I suggest what needs to happen, as soon as jobs start to “disappear” is the bloated, useless bureacracy in every level of government needs to “dissapear’ at an exponential rate in tandem with the jobs lost by the people they claim to represent. Let the mayor or the governor and their secretaries make machiatos and see how they like living on slave wages.

    you’re not wrong. …
    you’re not wrong. People are being forced out of the middle income jobs into a position of servitude. The “elite” need lots of people to carry their bags and serve their food. I suggest a “fight club” mentality needs to develop. in their soup! Emplyers will only hire for short term even though they tell you their job is permanent, then they say they are going to “lay you off” and they list you as “quit” on your emplyment record and the govt is on their side. Starving? EAT THE RICH

    Stop paying your debt, (we) the people do have the power: I am not paying (and playing) any more. It would be interesting to see who’s got who by the balls, it’s all just like a (rigged) poker game, isn’t it?

    Nothing is free, never was, never will be, anything “free” was stolen from others always. Money is only a representative of the value that is created by mans labor.

  8. testar2 Says:

    @chiyerano. Money …
    @chiyerano. Money makes people greedy. Without it (money) there will not be any reason to be greedy or to steal. Everything will be FREE in a “Venus Project-world”. And yes, it is very possible to have everything for free (study the Venus Project and you will be convinced). More: We do not need to work as much as today! Technology can easily replace people.

    @chiyerano I do not think we have had free capitiolism for a long time. I belive in the free market and people being able to make their own decisions. We cannot mandate that people do things that are amoral and be suprised when things crash.

    @skyding8962 The recession of 2001 should have started in the third quater of 2000 when companies were sure that the code had been fixed to avoid the y 2k scare. in 2001 they started giving stimulis checks in march why would they state that it did not start to march?? It makes no sense.

    @testar2 Even …
    @testar2 Even without money, there will still be greedy people and corruption of a sort. Money in itself does not cause greed or corruption. In order for what you’re talking about to work, you would have to first deal with human nature.

  17. skyding8962 Says:

    @tubbymanbat

    @tubbymanbat

    Thats not true. They said the recession started in march 2001.

  18. tubbymanbat Says:

    @skyding8962 This …
    @skyding8962 This is the same group that said we were not in a recession in early 2001. This is also the same group that denied that we were in a recession until tarp 1. Oh yeah they are real reliable. This group also adjust numbers often time years later. I think you need to actually listen to some economist that do not work for the gov.

  19. testar2 Says:

    @chiyerano. I agree …
    @chiyerano. I agree with you about competition vs monopoly, but as I have written elsewere, I think we need a better solution/system than we have today (the moneybased system). We must work together, not compete! The hole world!

  20. testar2 Says:

    @chiyerano. In a …
    @chiyerano. In a money-based society, the best things will not be produced! Or at least many good things will not be produced. Many good things costs to much to make and build. Companies just do things that get them best payed. Thats it, and that is wrong. It’s not a “perfect” world as I see it. The techical development is slow! I want a better world, for everyone. And that must not be a money-based one.

  21. testar2 Says:

    @chiyerano. You …
    @chiyerano. You missunderstood me I think. I do NOT want a money-based system. In a system like that, there is nothing like monopoly/competition. It’s just about ONE world working together, without no money. So there will not be any reason for corruption or greedy people and companies. A much better place to be than today, I’m sure.

  22. chiyerano Says:

    @testar2 There was …
    @testar2 There was (and still is) too much government involvement and regulation in the American system and society to truly call it a ‘capitalistic society’. If we had a society or system truly and completely based on capitalism, then many of the failing banks and corporations labeled as ‘too big to fail’ would have failed and either gone out of business or had a major restructuring and readjustment in their business practices instead of being bailed out by the government.

  23. chiyerano Says:

    @testar2 Companies …
    @testar2 Companies don’t get away with making really cheap and bad products for very long because if a customer finds that he can find a better product elsewhere or possibly even make a better product on his/her own, the customer will stop patronizing the companies and buying their products and the companies will have to either start making better products or go out of business. Throw in government involvement and it’s a different story.

  24. chiyerano Says:

    @testar2 (continued …
    @testar2 (continued) I also have to settle for whatever quality this monopoly provides as a product or service which is another thing I don’t want to do.

  25. chiyerano Says:

    @testar2 It is …
    @testar2 It is possible to be competitive and cooperative at the same time. They are not mutually exclusive. You can make a product or provide a service even as someone else makes similar products or provides similar services while cooperating with one another in the sense of following an code of ethics and conduct and not trying to do things like interfere with each other’s market share or customer base.
